Every TruePoint project is a fixed scope at a fixed price, agreed before work starts. This page sets out where the edges of that scope are: what counts against your page allowance, what a revision round is, what we fix for free, and what we do not build at all. If something matters to your project and it is not here, ask before you pay.
Page allowances
| Package | Price | Substantive pages | Revision rounds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | $250 | up to 5 | 1 |
| Growth | $500 | up to 10 | 2 |
| Authority | $1,000 | up to 30, of which up to 15 core/custom | 3 |
What counts as a page
A substantive page is a visitor-facing page: home, about, services and service-detail pages, pricing, projects and project records, resources, articles.
Technical routes do not count against your allowance. The 404 page and a form’s thank-you page are part of a working website, not part of your page count.
At Authority, up to 15 of the 30 are fully custom pages. The rest are structured, repeatable page systems — project records, resources, articles, service details — where each page shares a design and differs in content.
The allowance is a maximum, not a quota
Your package sets a ceiling on scope, not a balance you are owed. A business that needs six pages and buys Growth has bought the right scope for its site, not four pages of credit to spend later. The approved project scope decides what gets built.
Revision rounds
A revision round is one consolidated set of reasonable changes within your approved scope, sent together.
It is not a series of emails over several days that each claim to be part of the same round. Gather your feedback, send it once, and we work through it.
What is not a revision
- pages beyond your package’s page count
- new functionality
- restarting the approved visual direction
- new copywriting programs
- ecommerce, client portals, or integrations
- a change to the underlying business the site describes
None of these are refused. They are new scope — quoted separately, and built only once you approve the quote.
Your review window
You have 14 days after each delivery to send your consolidated revision request. We remind you before the window closes.
If we do not hear from you inside that window, the delivered version is treated as accepted so the project can be completed and closed. That is not a penalty; it is how a project stops staying open indefinitely.
Defects are not revisions
If something we built does not work — a form that does not send, a button that goes nowhere, a page that breaks on a phone — that is a defect. We fix it, and it does not use one of your rounds.
Defects in the delivered scope are fixed free for 30 days after launch.
A defect is delivered work that does not function as agreed. A revision is a change to work that does. You should never spend a round having us repair our own mistake.
Included in every package
- Custom design, not a locked template
- Logo work — your existing logo prepared for web use, or three new concepts to choose from
- Mobile, tablet, and desktop layouts
- A contact or estimate-request form
- On-page SEO foundations set up at launch
- First-year registration of one available standard domain, up to a registration cost of $25.00 USD
- Hosting set up in your name
- Email forwarding on your domain, so mail to your business address reaches an inbox you already use
- Handover of the domain, hosting account, and files at launch
- The 30-day defect period
Premium, aftermarket, and higher-cost domain extensions are paid separately by you, and renewal after the first year is yours. Your site is built to run inside a hosting provider’s free allowance, and for a normal small-business website it will. If your usage exceeds that allowance or a provider changes its terms, ongoing hosting cost is yours. We do not promise free hosting forever, because nobody can.
What is excluded
- Print-ready logo production files — CMYK conversion, EPS for signage, embroidery artwork, vendor-specific production files. This is a different discipline from web design and we do not offer it. Your logo is yours; a print or sign shop can produce these from the SVG we hand you.
- Ecommerce, online stores, and payment processing on your site
- Client portals, logins, and member areas
- Third-party integrations and custom applications
- Anything backed by a database or live inventory
- Ongoing content updates after launch
- Ongoing SEO, advertising, or marketing services
- Photography, videography, and copywriting beyond what your package describes
- Collection of health information through your website — our hosting does not permit it. If your site needs an intake form asking about symptoms, conditions, or treatment history, we route that part to a specialist provider or decline the project.
There are also categories we decline outright, whatever the payment — adult content, gambling, firearms, cannabis, online pharmacies, credit repair and debt collection, multi-level marketing, telemarketing, escort services, and anything unlawful. That is not a judgment about your business. Building them would put our payment processor, host, and registrar accounts at risk, and losing any of those would take every client’s website down. The full list is in the project terms.
If you already have a website
We build new websites. We do not take over, update, or migrate a site somebody else built.
If you already have one, we build you a new one. What that means specifically:
- We don’t migrate your existing content. Anything you want carried over, send it to us through the project form like any other material.
- We don’t preserve your old page addresses, and we don’t set up redirects from them.
- Your existing domain still gets used. It stays in your account and your new site goes on it — see the ownership page for how that happens without us ever holding your login.
One consequence worth stating plainly: if your current pages rank in search, those rankings can drop when the page addresses change without redirects in place. That is normal for a fresh build, and it is the trade you are making at this price. A rebuild that preserves URLs, maps every old address to a new one, and protects existing rankings is a different and larger job than any of these packages.
Reorganising an existing site of any size is that larger job too. Beyond the Authority ceiling — 30 substantive pages, up to 15 of them custom — a project stops being one of these packages and becomes a separately quoted engagement.
When a project grows past its scope
Projects change. More pages, new functionality, materially more content work — any of it is possible, and none of it happens quietly.
If a project grows beyond its approved architecture, we tell you, price the additional scope, and wait for your approval before the extra work proceeds. Nothing is added without you agreeing to it, and nothing is invoiced after the fact. If you would rather leave it out, we leave it out and build the original scope.
What stays yours, and what we do not promise
Yours: the website, the design, the code, the content, the logo, the domain, and the accounts they live in. No licence fee, no ongoing payment to keep the site online, and another developer can take it over without our involvement.
Not promised: your search rankings, traffic, leads, or sales. We also do not verify the information you supply — everything the website says about your business is your claim to stand behind.
