Authority concept · Alder Crown Custom Homes

Five homes. Five different premises.

These are fictional Authority case studies created for the TruePoint concept. They are not completed client work. Each is organized around the site, owner brief, constraints, preconstruction decisions, and what the scenario demonstrates.

Juniper Fold, a low custom home threaded through a narrow juniper site.

Juniper Fold House — Bend

A narrow site, long views, privacy pressure, winter sun, and constrained staging. The project tests how controlled scale and a folded courtyard/terrace relationship can serve extended family without making the home feel oversized.

Rimrock Courtyard House — Bend

A wind-exposed lot where broad views compete with usable outdoor space. The case studies courtyard orientation, protected transitions, weathering materials, and construction sequence.

Tumalo Meadow House — Tumalo

A rural site where utilities, seasonal access, and budget uncertainty arrive before elaborate form. The project uses simple massing to leave room for quality in envelope and interiors.

Pine Ridge Second Home — Sisters area

A remote-owner project organized around decision timing, material approvals, documented changes, and communication checkpoints rather than a “hands-off luxury” promise.

High Desert House Rework — Bend

An existing home with a strong site and fragmented building history. The case studies what to retain, what remains uncertain, and how circulation, systems, and envelope can be reworked as one transformation.
